Fishing & Boat Rentals

Can I rent a boat at Miller Lake without a boating license?

Yes, you can rent a boat at Miller’s Family Camp without a formal Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC). We provide a comprehensive Rental Boat Safety Checklist that acts as temporary proof of competency for the duration of your rental. Our fleet includes motorboats, canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards for exploring Miller Lake.

Fishing & Boat Rentals

A warm inland lake about 5 kilometers long and 1.5 kilometers wide, Miller Lake is rarely too rough for fishing or playing. It also offers enough breeze to stay cool or go sailing or windsurfing!

Large mouth bass, pickerel, northern pike, perch, rock bass and sunfish all swim here, just waiting for the right bait.

Stay with us in the spring or fall and get a two day boat rental for the price of one. We also have other special discounts from mid-May up to the last weekend in June and from Labour Day to Thanksgiving.

We rent boats to both registered campground guests and non-registered visitors. Registered guests may reserve boats in advance. If you are not staying at the campground, boat rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved ahead of time. You are welcome to call the office to check availability before you arrive.

Our office is open daily from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM in the summer. If you would like to rent a boat earlier in the morning, we ask that you come to the office the night before to pay, sign the rental agreement, receive the proper safety equipment, and, for motor boat rentals, a brief boat operation and safety orientation.

Rent one of our boats and check out the lake!
